ProSensor – Development of an Industrial Fully Automated Production Line for Fiber Optic Sensors
This project aims the research and development of optimized production methods of fiber Bragg grating based sensors for structural health monitoring applications. It addresses all the stages of the production chain, namely fiber photosensitivity enhancement techniques, high-reliability FBG manufacturing processes, automated sensors assembling methods, and accelerated ageing and long term reliability assessment of the sensors.
